Some people have nothing better to do with their weekends…
17 08 2010www.phatdesignuk.com is poorly…
On Monday morning Google warned me my website was ‘infected by malicious code’. This is what my web hosts (LCN) had to say about it:
“Unfortunately, the server on which you are hosted was attacked by an external
hacker over the weekend which is the cause of the Google messages. We have
carried out some emergency maintenance to further increase security and repair
the damage done to the server and all services should now be working as normal.
However, individual websites which were compromised in this attack will remain
affected at this time. Our engineers are still working to reverse the effects
of the attack and will endeavour to have this done as quickly as possible.”
Thanks LCN
What i want to know is – who is this external hacker??? And what could he possibly want with my website?! It’s actually quite a funny image: Geeky bloke sat in his bedroom furiously typing whilst dreaming of world domination… I on the other hand prefer to spend my weekends partying and/or lying on the couch *(with ma Bear) eating crisps and drinking red wine.
So anyway, i’ve decide to take the opportunity to re-design PhatDesignUk.com … I’ll let you know when it’s up and running – watch this space

Re-branding the Zion Arts Centre
22 06 2010Phat Design worked alongside Daniel Jarvis, the Zion’s newly appointed Communications Officer to create ’something that looks a bit more home grown and has a definite style for Zion’.
Responses to the Zion’s new illustrative style artwork have so far been very positive and we hope the new branding will appeal to artists and members of the local community. The Zion has some fantastic facilities and a range of activities on offer to young people including after-schools and Saturday workshops in dance, drama, music, radio production, visual art, creative media and lots more.
“Zion is a creative hub that many artists choose as a base to make their work, house their office or just hang out. We also offer work placements, mentoring, artists shadowing, apprenticeships and anything else we can provide to help people develop creative careers.”
Check out what’s happening this summer by going to: http://www.zionarts.com
And please feel free to tell us what you think of the new look flyers by leaving a comment below…
